compared to standard 3.5-inch displays, providing enhanced
visibility for embedded and DIY projects. It maintains the core
benefits of TFT technology—vibrant colors, sharp resolution, and
fast refresh rates—in a compact form factor ideal for applications
requiring additional screen space while maintaining a small
footprint.
The display features a 24-pin interface designed with FPC (Flexible
Printed Circuit) connectivity and utilizes MIPI DSI interface
(typically 2 channels). This mobile-optimized interface delivers
higher transmission rates and lower power consumption compared to
traditional interfaces. The 24-pin configuration includes power
ground, differential data pairs, differential clock pairs, reset
pins, and dedicated pins for LED backlight power and reset control,
ensuring stable data transmission and reliable screen operation.
With a 3.97-inch diagonal size, this TFT LCD employs active matrix
Thin Film Transistor technology combined with an IPS panel,
providing wide 80-degree viewing angles from all directions. The
480x800 resolution with 0.108mm×0.108mm dot pitch delivers clear,
detailed imagery suitable for vertical display applications. The
display offers a 900:1 contrast ratio and brightness up to 600 nits
for excellent visibility even in bright lighting conditions.
Powered by the ST7701S driver IC, this module operates within a
narrow voltage range of 2.8-3.3V with low power consumption. It
functions reliably in temperatures from -20℃ to 70℃ and can be
stored in conditions ranging from -30℃ to 80℃, making it suitable
for most daily and industrial environments. The compact module
thickness of approximately 2mm (57.14×96.85×2.15mm dimensions)
facilitates easy integration into space-constrained devices.
